4、In my next life, I want to be a good dog. ...
-

In my next life, I want to be a good dog.
He was a young man down on his luck—gentle in appearance, steady in spirit. One day, against his will, he was forced into something he shouldn’t have touched. That’s when he met a man who bound him—not with cruelty, but with something harder to name.
They stayed together for a time, until one day the young man whispered, “Let me go. Just let me go.” The man’s heart ached—but in the end, he couldn’t bring himself to loosen his grip.
After the young man was gone, the man often visited the stadium where he used to play soccer. He adopted a puppy—born the very day the young man left this world.
The little dog curled up in his lap, quiet and warm. Just as that boy once did.
