M好几次关键询问，F的回答都令他失望。所以，M绝望了，内因再加上外因，去结婚了。即使婚后，还是没有等到M的承诺，所以决定跟F保持距离。
岂料F不依不饶，绝不放手。唉，其实真正的Devil真的是F啊。
"Surely!"当然不是闹着玩，M在这时还是很强硬呢

"Promise to behave decently then." M怕F乱来吧

在这本书里，Ricky也开始反思个体价值，只不过没有Maurice里来得决裂，因而只是萌芽而不是成熟的战斗。
赶着马车，两人倒是开心地把纸团点燃，然后放在河流上漂走。估计那两人一定干过这事儿。星座梗也在这里。

有一句话引起我的注意，
Stephen was a hero. He was a law to himself, and rightly. He was great enough to despise our small moralities. He was attaining争取 love. This evening Rickie caught Ansell's enthusiasm, and felt it worth while to sacrifice everything for such a man.
好吧，我不确定有没有发生，不过考虑到这句话，应该还是有比较简单但一定温馨的事情发生了。
