哈哈反正意思就是attractive反而没有“我对这个人有想要进一步发展关系/感兴趣”的意思；attractive通常是更加客观去形容这人不错。这边不适合用attractive这个词。engaged更加确切且地道。

我之前在英国听他们用engage一般是他们订婚了（比如我老师兴高采烈通知我们I'm engaged!），但是engage也有1l所说的‘greatly interested’的意思。文中行知用的是‘engage的对象’，一般订婚这种话都是用engaged这种被动用法（当然也可以不用但同样表达相同意思只是我很少听到），这样一来，和‘engage的对象’反而比较容易就区分出来了
