美国很少有人乘火车。 经常有人开车across the USA. 纽约到华盛顿开车开6小时就到了。 美国人依赖用车 或者是飞机。 美国再穷的人都会买和开车。 新车买不起可以买2手车。 纽约州规定16岁就可以考驾照。 但是washington dc and new york are cities, and city dwellers usually don't use cars even if they own them. because subways are more efficient.
