描述的是旁白F眼中Ricky心中对于过去两人爱的珍惜。

"Are you smoking before lunch?" said the other.估计这个是M对F的体贴 ？前文里倒是用Gerald的嘴说过这句话，后文Stephen也提过这话。
But they had got into heaven, and nothing could get them out of it天堂.Others might think them surly不顾场合 or prosaic厌烦. He knew. He could remember every word they spoke. 这里看到过去的Ricky是M，看过书的最后才知道，当时M最大的困扰是，无法走出曾经的深爱。
